Another Rivendell design... they say:- This is by far our most popular drop bar, and many people who've sworn off drops have reluctantly tried it and remarried. It is our own design, but more important than that, it's a good design that works exceptionally well for almost every human being on this fantastic planet of ours. Its key feature is the shallow 15-degree "ramp," which is what we call the curved portion of the bar behind the brake lever body. You put your hands there a lot, and if the ramp is steep as it is on so many handlebars your hand slides forward and it bugs you. The Noodle bar's flattish ramp gives you a super comfortable hand perch, and your hands will not tend to slide, not the least bit. Another feature, but not important: The tops curve back toward you slightly. We shall make no stupendous ergonomic braggy-type claims about this (though please note that others have incorportated this feature into their bars, and they DO).
